SUMMARY 

Develop and implement quality systems with an emphasis on product returns, complaint management, and overall root cause and corrective action measures to drive the CAPA, optimize new product development within a manufacturing environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Analyze system data to determine major contributors to poor performing processes
• Part of cross functional team in developing and improving Quality activities
• Acts as a subject matter expert for data acquisition and other Quality software like QC Gage and QC Calc.
• Performs other assigned duties as deemed necessary by their manager.
• Analyze production and supplier nonconformance data to determine cause
• Analyze customer returns to determine underlying root causes in a timely manner
• Improve QMS procedures/documents that align with ISO Standards
• Root cause analysis of CAPA process using DMAIC methodology and 8D/5 Why tools
• Without supervision to create PFMEA and Capability Studies, PPAP, for customer deliverables and to improve manufacturing processes.
• Review and verify Engineering/Customer prints, familiarize with Reach and RoHS requirements.

Requirements

REQUIRED 

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience 
• 5 + years of Quality Engineering experience
• Experience with measuring tools and Equipment
• Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
• Basic knowledge of quality systems – statistics, and sampling
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal

DESIRED

• Master’s degree preferred or Equivalent work experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience a plus
• GD&T/Engineering prints a plus
• Knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems standards a plus
