The Quality Engineer supports Standard Nuclear’s quality management system by ensuring manufacturing processes, materials, and products meet internal and regulatory quality standards. This role works closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to implement quality controls, investigate nonconformances, and drive continuous improvement across production operations.
This is a hands-on engineering role within a regulated manufacturing environment. The Quality Engineer supports inspection and verification activities while leading root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvements to strengthen product quality and operational reliability. The role contributes to maintaining compliance with NQA-1 and other applicable regulatory and industry quality standards while helping scale manufacturing operations safely and efficiently.

This position operates in office, laboratory, and manufacturing environments supporting production and engineering operations.
The role may involve time on the manufacturing floor supporting inspections, troubleshooting quality issues, and working with production teams.
Employees may be required to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, or other required PPE.
Occasional work in controlled or radiological areas may be required. Reasonable accommodation will be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
