Job Description

Join a global Tier 1 automotive supplier and play a key role in driving product quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. This position offers the opportunity to lead quality initiatives from new product launch through production while partnering closely with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional manufacturing teams in a fast-paced automotive environment.


What You'll Do



  • Lead quality activities for new product launches using APQP and PPAP methodologies.

  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to eliminate quality issues.

  • Partner with customers, suppliers, engineering, and production to resolve quality concerns.

  • Prepare and maintain PPAP documentation and quality records.

  • Support engineering changes, product launches, and production readiness.

  • Analyze quality and production data using SPC and other statistical tools.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and manufacturing performance.

  • Serve as the primary customer contact for quality-related issues and support customer audits.

What You'll Need



  • 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive supplier environment.

  • Strong experience with Root Cause Analysis, 8D, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, and AIAG Core Tools.

  • Experience supporting customer-facing quality issues and resolving supplier/customer concerns.

  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 / TS16949 quality systems.

  • Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment.

What Would Be a Plus



  • Experience with automotive plastics or interior components.

  • Experience in formed plastics manufacturing.

  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.

  • Lead Auditor training or quality auditing experience.

  • Experience supporting Ford, Toyota, Volkswagen, or other OEM customer requirements.

  • Experience with gauge calibration, MSA, and Gage R&R.
