Job description
- Advanced quality planning within new product development/transfer projects (APQP, control plans, inspection plans, etc.).
- Defines the quality-relevant acceptance criteria and acceptance conditions for new machines in the specifications.
- Supports the release of manufacturing/assembly processes and production release.
- Responsible for the creation, maintenance and release of control plan and inspection plan.
- Participates in the definition of quality targets of a project.
- Supports the selection of test and measurement equipment and procedures in the development (including experimental design).
- Supports the exchange of information related to quality planning across plants in parallel production projects and transfer projects.
- Monitoring problem & error analyses and reflect this information to the team.
- Support PFMEA activities and the definition of special characteristics.
- Responsible for the selection and application of quality methods and tools to monitor the quality targets necessary to achieve functional safety.
- Authorization of decisions to check quality KPIs required to achieve the properties related to functional safety.
- Planning and implementation of quality assurance measures within serial production (endurance run, proof of capability, suitability for test processes, FPY, ...) and monitoring during the NEP project.
- Responsible for the complete quality releases of manufacturing and assembly processes, considering applicable specifications.
- Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations.
- In the plant contact person for all Quality planning/project related activities.
Knowledge and Experience
- 2-3 years of relevant quality business experience.
- Technical university degree or professional equivalent experience.
- Sound knowledge in understanding customer requirements, specification sheets, technical drawings, and measuring.
- Sound knowledge in core tool methods (APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, Inspection Plan, PDCA, SPC, …).
- Knowledge in problem solving (Corrective / Preventive Action, 8D, 5-Why, A3, Ishikawa, …)
- Knowledge of Process Management, Quality Management Systems, certifications (ISO9001, VDA6.3) and Project Management and Basics in Economics.
- Knowledge of production processes.
- Common understanding of KPIs and trends.
- IT skills such as SAP, Office.
