Here, you\u2019ll be supported in progressing \u2013 whatever your ambitions. \n\nAbout This Role: The Quality Engineer II will provide Quality Engineering support for Arden Hills Manufacturing lines and New Products Introduction ensuring delivery of the highest quality result to the customer while supporting continuous improvement projects and quality initiatives. The person in this role will partner with manufacturing engineers for line support activities and with product development teams to ensure development of robust new products. \n\n \n\nIn a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the Quality Engineer II will be responsible for several manufacturing processes on the manufacturing line, working cross-functionally with manufacturing engineering and production teams to achieve business unit goals. The person in this role will be comfortable interfacing with downstream internal customers and providing quality leadership to a production team. \n\n \n\nAt Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week.\n\n \n\nRelocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.\n\n \n\nBoston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time.\n\n \n\n \n\nYour responsibilities include:\n\n * Identifies and implements effective process control systems to support the development, qualification, and on-going manufacturing of products to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.\n * Supports culture of continuous improvement by driving enhancements to existing process controls.\n * Proactively investigates, identifies, and implements best-in-class Quality Engineering practices.\n * Promotes quality assurances, process controls, and CAPA systems designed to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.\n * Applies sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues.\n * Actively engages with production teams across all shifts to develop solutions to improve outgoing quality.\n * Provides input and implements departmental or cross-functional engineering initiatives.\n * Provides project direction, coaching, and mentoring for technician team personnel.\n * Assures the development and execution of streamlined business systems which effectively identify and resolve quality issues.\n * Participates in team decision making and displays team problem solving/communication skills.\n\n\n\n \n\nRequired qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s Degree in Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience OR Master\u0027s Degree in Engineering with 1+ years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education (STEM)/work experience\n * Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Minitab, etc.)\n\n\n\n \n\nPreferred qualifications:\n\n * Self-starter with a proven ability to successfully work with minimal supervision\n * Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner with high attention to detail\n * Experience owning process improvement and corrective action projects \n * Demonstrated project management success\n * Experience in the medical device, biotechnology or other highly regulated industry\n * Experience in a manufacturing environment\n * Comfortable speaking to groups of individuals. \n\n\n\n \n\nRequisition ID: 627076\n\nMinimum Salary: $ 71500\n\nMaximum Salary: $ 135800\n\nThe anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) \u2013 see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com\u2014will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role.
