Who You Are
3+ years of hands-on

experience in software test automation

using various languages (like

Swift, Type Script, JavaScript or Python).
2+ years of experience in

Agile software development

methodology, continuous integration and continuous deployment approaches and tools.
You approach work with an ownership mentality and strive to deliver consistent high-quality results.
Identify ambiguous requirements, providing clarity when needed.
Demonstrate effective use of technologies such as

Selenium , Java,

TestNG , Mocha, etc. and a willingness to learn new ones as they emerge.
Demonstrate an awareness of architectural technologies, iOS, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, etc. and are open to learning.
Applies critical thinking skills to solve significant testing problems.
Ability to understand complex systems and identify system characteristics, in order to apply principles of automation to routine tasks.
Fundamental understanding of the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
Ability to communicate technical information and details effectively and understand customer systems.
Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Engineering or Computer Science, or relevant work experience.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with other Engineers in software testing techniques, processes and technologies.
Contribute to the testing design and automation of features across systems that improve our customers’ and Partners’ user experience.
Understand and effectively communicate the over-arching testing infrastructure and frameworks applied to our enterprise systems, including Partner facing applications, customer facing sites and mobile applications.
Write code to automate testing for microservices, APIs, REST and UI following guidelines, best practices, and coding standards.
Troubleshoot test failures and effectively communicate results, identifying bugs and flaky tests, across multiple teams and applications.
Engage in and support the build and deployment pipeline for lower-level environments, and contribute to diagnosing production support issues when needed.
Develop and apply testing coverage strategies for applications, using consistent automated testing practices.
Engage in and improve the software delivery lifecycle by evangelizing a test-driven approach to software engineering and incorporating automated test suite(s) into CI/CD pipelines.
Work with Quality Engineers in other external Teams to leverage Enterprise Testing Frameworks, QA standards.
Do you have what it takes?
Solid understanding of various software testing processes and techniques.
General understanding of process implementation and expectations.
Understanding of the process for designing, coding, executing and documenting results of automated testing.
Fundamental understanding of automation frameworks.
Familiarity with automation and performance testing and associated tools and frameworks.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong verbal / written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to prepare / present quality-specific information at various levels with sufficient notice and preparation time.
Ability to influence peers.
Ability to adapt to change in the work environment and encourage others to accept / adapt to change.
Ability to work in an open office work environment.
Passion for quality and attention to detail.
Self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
