Job Summary: 
As a Quality Inspector at Central Moloney, Inc., you play a critical role in ensuring the production of high-quality transformers by meticulously evaluating and validating manufacturing processes. Your expertise in quality control contributes to the construction of reliable and top-notch products. Your responsibilities include: 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. 
  • Perform various testing procedures on transformers, including electrical and mechanical tests, to validate functionality and performance. 
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results and testing procedures. 
  • Use precision measuring instruments, such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers, to verify that components meet specified dimensional requirements. 
  • Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards. 
  • Investigate and analyze product defects or non-conformities, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. 
  • Collaborate with production teams to communicate quality standards and address any issues or concerns. 
  • Strictly adhering to safety guidelines and procedures, promoting a secure working environment. 
  • Undertake additional quality-related duties as assigned, showcasing your versatility and commitment to excellence. 

 

Key Qualifications: 

  • Display good verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Good manual dexterity and physical stamina for repetitive tasks. 
  • Possess strong mathematical & problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and technical drawings. 
  • Experience with quality control tools and techniques. 
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and quality control skills. 
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to noise and dust. 
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. 

 

Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing setting. 
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, overtime if necessary per business needs. 
  • Willingness to relocate or commute daily to the work site. 
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. unassisted. 
  • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, bending, twisting, and walking. 
  • Background check, Drug & Alcohol Screening required.
