Quality Inspector 1

Inspect aerospace parts and components to ensure they meet engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements

Use basic precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and pin gauges to verify part dimensions

Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections under the guidance of senior inspectors

Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to understand inspection criteria and product features

Record inspection results accurately in electronic quality systems and maintain proper documentation for traceability

Identify nonconforming parts and communicate issues to supervisors, machinists, or engineers for corrective action

Follow established quality procedures in alignment with AS9100 and aerospace industry standards.

Assist with first-article inspections by gathering measurements and completing required paperwork

Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and ensure safe handling of aerospace components

Support continuous improvement activities by providing feedback on recurring issues or process inconsistencies

Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure consistent product quality
