What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conduct detailed inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, CMMs).
• Interpret design drawings & specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform raw material inspections and verify conformance.
• Inspect first-piece and in-process production to maintain high-quality standards.
• Approve finished products by confirming specifications, performing visual & measurement tests, and ensuring rework is completed correctly.
• Document inspection results accurately in reports and logs.
• Collaborate with production teams to address non-conformances and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 & AS9100 standards (FAIRS knowledge a plus).
• Assist with mechanical gauge calibration (experience a plus).

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in quality inspection within metal fabrication, machining, or related manufacturing industries.
• Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and its applications.
• Ability to use precision hand tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Familiarity with CMMs (experience is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail & problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work independently & in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
