Job Description - Quality Inspector

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our growing team! Established in 1977, we're currently a small job shop operating in an AS9100 certified environment. Our focus is precision machined products and the individual we seek will serve a key role within the company.

Ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of GD&T with experience setting up and utilizing various measuring instruments such as; bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, e.t.c..

Responsibilities:

Layout and perform first piece inspections

Participate in routine mechanical inspections and receiving inspections

Prepare First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102

Qualifications:

Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields

Strong attention to detail

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, strong mathematical skills are necessary.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Bonus Qualifications:

CMM experience is preferred

Perform Calibration and maintain records

Knowledge of Quality Management System in an AS9100 environment

Pay varies significantly DOE

Benefits include Health Care, Retirement, PTO

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
