Quality Inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections on incoming parts to ensure they meet established specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, is comfortable using precision measuring tools, and can interpret technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, subassemblies, and components

· Use inspection tools such as calipers, pin gages, thread gages, and other precision instruments

· Read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications

· Accurately record inspection results and maintain documentation

· Identify nonconforming materials and communicate findings to appropriate teams

· Maintain a clean and organized inspection area

· Follow all safety and quality procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with standard inspection tools and measurement techniques

• Experience with quality management systems or inspection documentation

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures

• Standing, walking, and handling parts for extended periods may be required

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· 2+ years of experience in a quality inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
