Quality Inspector, 2nd Shift

Eaton\u2019s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Quality Inspector, 2nd Shift. \n\nThe hourly rate for this position is $18.94 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. The hours are Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm. \n\n\nThis position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nAs a Quality Inspector, you will carry out a wide range of detailed inspection activities required by customers to ensure products meet or exceed specifications. This includes selecting the appropriate inspection tools, methods, and procedures based on product type and customer expectations.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Product Inspection: Perform thorough inspections of materials, components, and finished goods to ensure they meet all quality and safety standards.\n\n * Measurement \u0026 Testing: Use various measurement tools and testing equipment to verify product compliance with specifications.\n\n * Documentation: Accurately record inspection data, maintain test and measurement documentation, and report any non\u2011conformance issues.\n\n * Defect Identification: Identify, document, and communicate defects, deviations, or areas for improvement in products or processes.\n\n * Compliance Verification: Ensure adherence to regulatory, industry, customer, and internal standards (e.g., ISO).\n\n * Collaboration: Partner with production teams to provide quality feedback and recommend corrective actions.\n\n * Process Improvement: Suggest improvements based on inspection findings and data analysis.\n\n * Auditing: Conduct routine audits of production processes and quality systems to confirm ongoing compliance.\n\n * Training: Provide guidance or training to team members on quality standards and inspection practices.\n\n * Re\u2011Inspection: Perform follow-up inspections to confirm corrective actions have been completed effectively.\n\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired:\n\n * High school diploma or equivalent (GED).\n * Eaton does not offer immigration sponsorship for this position (no CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, H\u20111B, O\u20111, E\u20113, TN, I\u2011485 portability, etc.).\n * Relocation is not provided. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the Greenwood, SC facility.\n\n\n\nPreferred:\n\n * 3 months+ of manufacturing experience.\n * 3 months+ of experience using hand and air tools.\n * Previous quality experience\n * 1 year+ of experience with MS Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).\n\n\n\n## Position Criteria\n\n * Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs and lift up to 40 lbs with or without accommodation.\n * Strong problem\u2011solving abilities\n * .Effective verbal and written communication skills.\n * Strong planning and organizational skills.\n * Ability to influence and collaborate through relationship\u2011building and process knowledge.\n\n\n\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
