Quality Inspector Technician

• Perform routine daily quality inspections (ie. receiving, first articles, in-process, final)
• Support engineering & manufacturing team with quality related tasks
• Operate CMM and FARO Arm and program simple measurement routines using PC-DMIS
• Maintain quality lab documentation and inspection records
• Manage inspection equipment used in manufacturing and quality lab
• Work with management to ensure inspection equipment calibration is up to date
• Work with manufacturing teams to determine root cause of non-conforming parts
• Perform routine verification of inspection equipment to ensure accuracy
• Maintain 5S methodology in quality lab

• Technical School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years Quality Control experience
• PC-DMIS software experience
• CMM Operation and Programming experience
• Good arithmetic skills and detail oriented skills are required
• Mechanical aptitude
• 1st Article Inspections is preferred
• Working knowledge of measurement instruments
• General proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
