Quality Inspector/Tester

 We have operations in Saint Louis, Missouri, Huntington Beach, California, and Milford, Connecticut, serving local, national and international customers, both military and commercial. The company supplies platform controls, aircraft components, liquid oxygen equipment, and emergency breathing equipment to its customers. 

Summary of Job

Test products on the assembly line to ensure that it meets quality and engineering standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Ability to verify correct specifications, certifications and packing requirements have been met
• Record discrepancies and separate good from defective parts
• Assume responsibility that completed product has met all requirements
• Proper identification on product.
• Inspect for proper packaging.
• Record data for trending analysis.
• Report major failures as they happen.
• Assist in other areas, or tasks, to meet production needs

High school level reading and math skills. 0-3 months experience in Quality Assurance. Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and experience in inspection a plus.

The pay for this position starts at a minimum of $17.64/hr. when the minimum job requirements are met and goes up based upon a candidate’s experience and qualifications in a similar role. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance.
