Position Summary:

The Quality Manager assists and is responsible for the work process of the Quality Management Department and the implementation of the Hospital-wide Quality Assessment Performance Improvement Program.

Responsibilities will include Collaboration with Hospital Administration to plan, organize, direct and lead the Hospital-wide Quality Assessment Improvement (QAPI) Program.  The Manager will have demonstrated experience with quality management principles and the application of system design, reengineering, project management, quality improvement, outcomes measurement and statistical analysis.  The Manager is responsible for the personnel and work process of the Quality Department, meeting the regulatory requirements for the collection and reporting of required internal and external quality outcomes data.  Will utilize strong interpersonal and professional communications including education skills with hospital staff, physicians and will be able to speak to enhancing quality of care and safety for patients and staff.

This position is responsible for supporting MCH quality initiatives. This includes data collection, abstraction and database administration. Additional responsibilities include oversight for data integrity and preparing data for reporting to committees responsible for Quality and Performance Improvement.

Qualifications:

Requires completion of an accredited school of Registered Nursing with a current CA Registered  Nurse License.  Prefer BSN Degree.

Requires strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.

Requires Current State of California Registered Nurse License.

Prefer Certification as Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
