Job Description - Quality Manager

Eaton\u2019s IS AER ITD Aerospace Interconnect division is currently seeking a Quality Manager. \n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $129000 - $190000 a year. \n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n* Relocation assistance is available for a qualified candidate currently residing in the USA. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe Quality Manager will ensure the quality of Eaton\u2019s products through the development and enforcement of quality and manufacturing processes. Develops and implements plans to achieve operation and group quality goals. Directs the implementation and ongoing oversight of the Aerospace Quality Leading Indicators and Quality Best Practices through the Eaton Zero Defects Plan. Ensure compliance to customer quality requirements and acts as principle contact for customer on quality issues. Manage customer communications, corrective actions, customer NOEs, supplier quality, shop floor quality, and Eaton PPAP. \n \nThis position has responsibility and oversight of product produced in Eaton Camarillo. You will oversee, hire, and mentor all areas of quality personnel including returned material (warranty), receiving inspection, final inspection, source inspection, supplier quality, manufacturing quality, customer quality, and quality compliance) \nB. You will monitor overall plant quality progress and performance and makes corrections as needed. \nC. You will act as a primary organizational contact for customer concerns and ensures appropriate corrective actions are deployed as necessary. \nD. You will ensure organizational readiness for customer and other third-party assessments. \nE. You will deploy Eaton Business System tools, where appropriate or required, to improve Quality Management System effectiveness (i.e. EQMS, QLI\u2019s, PPAP, Supplier Quality Performance, etc.). \nF. You will ensure that necessary organizational certifications and regulatory requirements are obtained, maintained, and improved. (i.e. QMS AS9100-ISO9001 certifications, NADCAP process certification, FAA, etc.)\n\n## DIMENSIONS:\n\n \n\u2022 Flex productivity 100% \n\u2022 DPPM \u003c 100 \n\u2022 CONC \u003c 2.0% as % of sales \n\u2022 Supplier DPPM \u003c50 \n\u2022 Efficiency 90% \n\u2022 Cost out projects \n\u2022 TRCR and DRCR 0 \n\u2022 High 5 metrics\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree from an accredited university.\n\n\u2022 A minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience working as a Quality Manager within a manufacturing environment.\n\n\u2022 A minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience reading product Blueprints, Specifications, and Engineering Product Requirements.\n\n\u2022 A minimum of 5 years experience supervising Quality related professionals.\n\n\u2022 This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. \u2018Green Card Holder\u2019), Political Asylee, or Refugee.\n\n\u2022 Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
