Performs Quality Inspection, Testing, and Audits of company products to ensure compliance with Quality Standards, Specifications, and Customer requirements.
Essential Functions
Complete assigned Quality Inspection, Testing, and Audits, in a timely manner, to ensure compliance with Quality Requirements.
Operate common inspection and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gages, as well as other specialized inspection and measurement equipment, such as Comparators, Hardness Testers, and Torque/Tension Machine, as applicable.
Perform inspection and testing to support completion.
Read and understand company and customer drawings.
Read and understand Customer and industry specifications and standards, as applicable.
Provide other Testing and Inspection, as directed.
Interact positively with and support other company departments, as necessary, to support the needs of the Business.
Prepare Quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing Quality and production data.
Participate in problem-solving teams, as necessary.
Follow Work Instructions and comply with company Policies and Procedures.
Always behave in a safe and professional manner.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Demonstrate a cooperative attitude toward other employees and keep a mind-set that always considers the best long-term interests of the company.
Other duties, as assigned by the Quality Manager.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic math skills
Experience with basic measurement tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Gages)
Proficient in MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Preferred Skills
Fastener experience

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The person in this position frequently is required to walk and climb stairs. Also, it is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.

The Quality Technician will frequently spend time on the manufacturing floor as well as in the office. While on the manufacturing floor, the Quality Technician will be required to wear eye and hearing protection. Safety-toed shoes are highly recommended around and on manufacturing equipment.
