About the Position: 

Utilizing independent judgment, the Manager of Quality Assurance is responsible for maintaining the EQS quality system and external quality certifications (e.g. AS9100, ISO 9001, PED, etc.).

What You’ll Do: 

• Maintains the EQS quality system and external quality certifications


• Maintains the quality assurance manual.


• Responsible for internal/external audits and corrective actions.


• Responsible for reviewing and signing certified test reports.


• Assists other departments with quality system development.


• Manages the personnel in QA.


• Management Representative with responsibility and authority for oversight of:

• Ensuring the Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to all applicable requirements


• Ensuring that processes deliver intended results


• Reporting on the performance of the QMS to top management


• Ensuring the promotion of customer focus


• Ensuring the integrity of the QMS

• Travel (local, national and international) as required.


• Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules.


• Must have ability and desire to work with others.


• Meets attendance requirements.


• Performs other duties as deemed necessary.

What You’ll Need:　  

• Bachelor’s of Science in a technical field


• Minimum of 5 years’ QA/QC experience, preferably in the metals manufacturing industry. 


• Strong organizational skills


• Ability to work with personnel at all levels of the organization


• Good verbal and written communication skills


• Active and valid driver's license.


• Willingness and ability to travel, when necessary


• Strong work ethic


• Willingness to learn


• Commitment to safety
