Job Description

The Quality Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems that directly support the fabrication process, ensuring all fabricated products consistently meet customer, regulatory, and industry requirements. The Quality Specialist serves as the primary resource for fabrication-related quality investigations, customer claim resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen quality performance across all fabrication operations. They will implement and monitor divisional quality systems, processes, SOPs, and work instructions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred; Associate degree or equivalent experience in fabrication is acceptable.


• 3–5+ years of experience in quality, or related roles.


• Green Belt certification is preferred.


• Blueprint reading, GDT knowledge, Faro Arm, and Virtek experience is preferred


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds


• Ability to conduct audits, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement


• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills


• Skilled in lean manufacturing


• Knowledge of steel industry products, processes, and quality systems for complex fabrication
