We are the Purple Quality Team. The Quality team is committed to support the innovation, manufacture, sale, and delivery of quality and reliable products, by meeting requirements and continually improving our quality management system. We are looking for an energetic and skilled professional with an analytical mind, and keen eye for constant improvement. You thrive on working with other people and take pride in being defect free in the work you do.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead a team responsible for executing the incoming inspection, MRB, and returns processes
Ensure that incoming materials are inspected in a timely fashion according to established goals
Ensure that defective material received from suppliers is identified, reported, and dispositioned
Maintain the MRB and returns areas in an orderly, organized state
Assist in creating defect reports to provide feedback to manufacturing
Assist in materials testing
Provide support in other areas of the department when needed
Promote a strong culture of quality at Purple
Required Skills, Education, Experience:
•High school diploma
• 2+ years Quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with product testing and inspection
• Good organizational skills
• Good communication skills and ability to resolve conflict
• Management experience preferred

Physical activities may occasionally include:
Remaining in stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time.
Adjusting or moving objects up to 15 pounds in all directions.
Physical activities may constantly include:
Communicating with others to exchange information.
Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned.
Environmental Conditions may occasionally include:
Noisy production environment
Work Hours (Good Faith Estimate):
This full-time position is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week. This is a good faith estimate, and actual hours may vary based on business needs.
