Quality Supervisor - Urgent Position

General Information

• Quality Control Supervisor
• Located in Warrensville Heights
• Starting pay is $28-$31/hour, based on experience.
• Monday Thursday 6 am 430 pm, with availability to work OT on Friday as needed.
• Temp to Hire opportunity with the company.

• Maintaining quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, outside production, and finished products. Recording quality results.
• Interacts with customers, both internal and external, to understand technical requirements and resolve issues.
• Visually inspects, tests, or examines parts to ensure conformance to prints.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
• Recommend the reprocessing of the low-quality products.
• Reads prints and other specifications to obtain product information.
• Verifies dimensional accuracy using micrometer calipers, veneer height gauges, dial indicator gauges, plug gauges or other measuring devices.
• Processes customer returns through RMA process.
• Upkeep of calibration records.
• Must be able to use a coordinate measuring machine (CMM).
• Create PPAP layouts.

• 5 years' experience as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous hands-on supervisory experience.
• Good communication skills and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willing to make changes and improvements to the quality and manufacturing process.
• Analyzing, documentation, and process improvement skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
