Quality Team Member

Description

The Quality Control Team Member works under the direct supervision of the Quality Control Supervisor. The incumbent will be responsible for the following daily responsibilities:

• Document quality checks and maintain records.
• Ensure compliance to company standards and specifications.
• Use measurement tools to ensure product specifications are followed.
• Perform quality inspections across assigned areas of inspection on both raw, in-process, and finished goods.
• Evaluate raw, in-process, and finished goods, noting any relevant deviations from Condair standards.
• Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
• Report safety issues.
• Identify areas for quality control improvement and communicate with management accordingly.

• Must exhibit strong working knowledge of products and manufacturing processes.
• Must be self-motivated; ability to work with minimum supervision.

Requirements

Education or Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 1-3 years previous experience in quality.
• Must lead by example in all areas (procedures, policies, motivation, attitude)
• Maintain a friendly and customer service-oriented approach to co-workers
• Internal communication is required on a daily basis with all levels of positions. Communication requires moderate tact and cooperation to convey basic facts

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
