What is the primary function of this role? \nInspects and audits operating procedures, quality processes, component parts, materials, equipment, and finished products for conformance to prescribed specifications. Initiate remedial action to eliminate conformance issues. \n \nJob Responsibilities \nList the main functions of the role, being clear and concise (avoid using abbreviations, use short sentences, stress what is unique, emphasize what makes your job and organization special). If this is a re-evaluation of an existing role, highlight the job responsibilities that are new to the role. \n\"\u2022 Perform quality- related tasks in the following areas: casing, tank, paint, assembly, coil winding, cores, and crating work centers. \n\u2022 Inspect, rest, and audit work processes, quality procedures, parts, subassemblies, and finished goods. \n\u2022 Use documents like NFOI, Standard Work, VOP, and engineering control documents for auditing. \n\u2022 Identify and address reasons for nonconformance, either by correcting issues or communication with a supervisor/ manager. \n\u2022 Make decisions regarding the acceptability of work processes and product quality. \n\u2022 Verify that materials received and units shipped comply with quality specifications. \n\u2022 Move materials as required. \n\u2022 Conduct thorough inspections to ensure quality standards are met. \n\u2022 Maintain accurate units counts. \n\u2022 Perform touch-up painting on units as needed. \n\u2022 Check continuity in each unit. \n\u2022 Maintain pace with production line. \n\u2022 Frequently lift hoods for inspection. \n\u2022 Monitor for trip hazars and sharp objects. \n\u2022 Ensure proper production of units. \n\u2022 Fulfill any other-directed operations. \n\n\" \n\n## Qualifications:\n\nEducation level required \nHigh school diploma or GED required. \n \nYears and area of experience required \nRelevant work experienced preferred. \nPrevious experience in manufacturing preferred. \n \nTechnical knowledge \nWorks from quality and productions standards. \nAbility to maintain documentation using NFOI, Standard Work, VOP, and engineering control documents. \nThrorough knowledge and understanding of assigned product lines and associated work centers. \"\n\n## Skills:\n\nSoft skills \nDemonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. \nAbility to read and comprehend written materials related to safety, quality, and operating instructions. \nDemonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail. \nAbility to advocate for quality and zero defects to operators and ensure no shortcuts are taken. \nAbide by Eaton\u0027s Philsophy and Values. \" \n \nEnvironmental Abilites \nAdhere to proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection with additional PPE as required by job function. \nWork efficiently in hot enviornments and tolerate loud noises. \" \n \nPhysical Requirements \nLift up to 40 lbs. \nPerform physical tasks such as frequent bending, stooping, twisting, grabbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and use both hands and upper extremities to lift / lower materials and perform tasks of a repetitive nature with or without reasonable accomodation.\"\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
