Job Description - Quality Technician

For one of our clients we're looking for a Quality Technician. As Quality Technician, you are responsible for administering key Quality activities, including understanding, promoting, and implementing Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost principles to support achieving customer success. This role requires working effectively in a team -oriented environment and the ability to guide and train other employees.

Requirements

A High School diploma or equivalent
Typically 2 -5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing and services environment
Ability to represent the company's quality culture, absolutes, and an understanding of nondestructive testing
Technical and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to professionally handle project issues as they arise, eliminating downtime

What will you be doing

As quality technician, you interpret and apply relevant policies and procedures, analyze data independently, and anticipate issues to take preventive action. You participate in project planning and scheduling, receive and log non -conformance reports, and verify that all required signatures are included. You review log books for accuracy and deviations, compile them with image logs and reports for TPI review, and create, update, and close quality notifications. You also gather non -conformances for QN generation, perform operation confirmations and closures in SAP or MES, and serve as a liaison between the company and contractor personnel.
