Quality Technician Assistant

Job Title: Quality Technician Assistant Prepared By: Sr. HR Generalist

Department: Quality Approved By: Director of HR

Reports To: Director of Manufacturing Operations

Summary: Assist with administration of quality and inspection processes as directed

Essential Function:

• Create and/or update quality and/or inspection documents and data
• Assist with identifying, labeling, and recording data to maintain organization
• Enter and update relevant information in ERP system
• Monitor and maintain company business management system (BMS), including creating and updating ISO documentation as needed
• Assist with any other duties as assigned

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

General knowledge of sheet metal, tubing, and other materials

General knowledge of manufacturing and quality practices and procedures

Ability to understand blueprints, work orders, and manufacturing symbols

Basic to intermediate computer, written/verbal communication skills, and math skills 

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands. The employee is frequently required to talk or listen. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, or bend. The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
