Quality Technician I

Join our team at Luxium Solutions, LLC, where we're seeking a passionate and meticulous Quality Technician I to play a crucial role in our success. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in product inspection methodologies to deliver precise evaluations of both in-process and finished products, collaborating closely with our growth and fabrication teams. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including, but not limited to, conducting inspections, documenting findings, managing packaging, reporting nonconformities, and actively participating in quality enhancement initiatives.

You will be engaged in the inspection of both in-process and finished products, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurately completed to meet both internal and customer requirements. As a quality technician, you will possess a moderate level of experience in inspection processes. You will also take charge of the packaging of materials for shipment to customers, ensuring proper product preservation and labeling. A solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential for preparing accurate documentation. Additionally, you will be adept at reading specifications and work instructions and will have the opportunity to seek guidance from senior technicians for troubleshooting and more complex procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical inspection of finished products and incoming material to ensure units meet with the customer’s specification
• Accurately complete all necessary documentation of inspection results. 
• Recommends rejections of any items not meeting established criteria to a senior technician.
• Maintaining the proper flow of work orders to the appropriate personnel to ensure the closing of the work orders will be completed properly.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe, neat, and orderly area.
• Responsible for validating that inspection equipment is calibrated and working correctly prior to use.

Key Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with quality inspection techniques
• Ability to make deductive and inductive reasoning judgements when faced with routine decisions or emergencies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
