Quality Technician I

Title: Quality Technician I 
Hiring Manager: Ben Fox 
Shift: 3rd Shift
Hours: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
Rate: $22.95 (with Shift Differential of $2.00 cents: $24.95) 
Location: F137 Device – 11287 Kiley Road, Huntley, IL 
 
Summary:
With general supervision, monitors product quality, providing feedback and recording results. Quarantines suspect or defective product. 
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Monitors the production process and collects dimensional data. 
2. Reviews, understands, and follows the control plan. Trains Packer /Inspectors the specific requirements of each job. 
3. Visually inspects samples from each job. Quarantines all non-conforming products as per inspection control plan. 
4. Visually inspects and reviews statistical data obtained on all raw materials. 
5. Provides statistical data as requested. 
6. Prepares labels and Certification of Compliance as requested. 
7. Performs other work duties or functions as assigned.

6. Strong math skills, including statistical knowledge 
 
Experience 
1. High school Diploma or equivalent 
2. 1-year previous production line experience preferred 
 
Machines, Tools, and Equipment
1. Thermoformers, Measuring Instruments, Computer, Microsoft OƯice
 
Environmental Demands:
1. Exposure to heat, toxic fumes, greases, and lubricants. 
 
Skill Level I: 
1. Understands and ensures Minimum Workmanship Requirements. 
2. Understands and uses TEQ terminology. 
3. Understands and searches for product visually defects 
4. Understands and ensures proper packing standards. 
5. Understands and ensures proper inspection standards. 
6. Performs In-Process inspections per each control plan. 
7. Properly uses scales, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and magna mikes.
