Biomerics offers Swiss machining with integrated laser cutting on precision medical tubing. Laser/Swiss machining enables features to be machined, and laser cut in the same process. Our core competency lies in smaller medical components, produced with high accuracy and repeatability. Traditional Swiss screw machining capability is also available for rapid prototyping and production.

In addition, Biomerics utilizes five axis milling machines capable of producing complex finished components, while holding extremely tight tolerances.

Job Description: We are always looking for talented Quality Technicians to assist in advancing our quality objectives to produce parts to customer specifications every time and on time and to continually improve the effectiveness of our quality management system. The successful applicant will be an excellent team player, possess exceptional analytical skills, and the drive to continually learn and grow with the company.

Representative Responsibilities:

• Manage calibration records for all equipment
• Schedule calibration for equipment as necessary
• Inspection plan/ sheet generation
• Assist in document change request management
• Assist in preventive maintenance management of equipment and work centers
• Assist in generating customer quality documentation and any required uploads to customer portals
• Assist in creating part specific inspection procedures, quality alerts, reports, as needed 
• Create NCR on discrepant material/ parts as needed
• Other duties may be assigned

Desired Skills, Talents, and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Technician in a machining or high-tech manufacturing environment preferred.
• Educational background in light industrial trades and/or in a post-secondary vocational program is a plus.
• Proficiency utilizing microscopes for visual inspection is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency utilizing a wide range of measuring instruments; experience with CMM's, video measurement systems, comparators, height gages strongly preferred.
• Must have GD&T knowledge
• Demonstrated research and documentation skills.
• Strong math skills
• Analytical ability
• Detail orientation
• Background in promoting process improvement
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to interface with customers to troubleshoot issues and offer exceptional service
• Background in safety promotion and management
