Quality Technician II - D Shift

The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:\n\n$43,100.00 - $64,700.00\n\nWork Shift: This position will support our D shift which is every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6pm - 6am and every other Saturday from 6pm - 6am. This shift has a 10% shift differential.\n\nPurpose Statement: The Quality Technician II is responsible for assuring all customer and company quality expectations are being satisfied through all manufacturing and inspection process steps. Identify and implement continuous quality improvement activities.\n\nKey Job Accountabilities:\n\n * Provide effective functional support of assigned Quality and Supplier Quality processes, goods and services, to meet functional department and customers\u0027 requirements.\n * Support Customer Returned Goods functions and non conforming material\n * Adapts to changes (work plan, priority and management decision) in the work environment, Supports improvement initiatives and participates actively to improve work environment (example 6S), Looks for opportunities to improve work productivity and efficiency\n * Lead development and direction of Quality Inspectors.\n * Lead quality plan implementation through data compilation and analysis.\n\n\n\nEducation/Experience Qualifications:\n\n * Typically requires a minimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience.\n * A combination of education, experience, and time in field will be taken into consideration, and internal candidates may have distinct requirements tailored to their demonstrated skills and contributions within the organization.\n\n\n\nOther Qualifications:\n\n * Intermediate computer skills\n * Intermediate decision making, problem solving skills\n * Basic verbal and written communication skills\n * Intermediate execution\n * Intermediate operational knowledge\n * Intermediate influence\n * Intermediate data modeling and manipulation knowledge\n * Basic manufacturing\n * Basic workmanship standard knowledge\n * Basic innovation\n * Customer focus\n * Basic technical judgment\n * General office equipment and materials\n\n\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\n * Role will support operational teams in a manufacturing environment with required personal protective equipment. Facilities include comfortable temperatures, repetitive low noise level and suitable lighting for required tasks. May require walking, standing and sitting, using a computer, and other office equipment. Direct interaction with people and equipment is event driven and will include activities related to inspecting, qualifying, troubleshooting and improving jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing methods using different types of components or material.
