Quality Technician, Level III

Job summary

We are looking for a Quality Control Technician to monitor quality standards for all

manufactured products at Golden State Assembly, LLC in Morgan Hill, CA.

Responsibilities/daily tasks

? Read blueprints and specifications

? Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards

? Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process

? Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced

? Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers

? Operate electronic inspection equipment and software

? Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests

? Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work

? Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs

? Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications

? Report inspection and test data such as continuity test, resistance test, hipot test, and quantities

conformant and quantities non-conformant

? Check products by sight, sound, or feel to locate imperfections such as cuts, scratches, missing

pieces, or crooked seams.

? Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal

regulations

? Coach and mentor junior employees; seek opportunities to grow leadership in others

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in the manufacturing or assembly industry
• Proven experience as a quality control inspector in the same industry preferred
• Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in computer software applications
• Knowledge of industry products and processes
• Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Ability to prioritize multitask and prioritize workload
