Job Description


The Quick Lane Manager oversees the daily operations of the Quick Lane Service Department, ensuring that all maintenance and light-repair work is performed efficiently, accurately, and with outstanding customer service. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for mentoring technicians and service advisors.


The ideal candidate will bring experience in service management or lane leadership, excellent communication skills, and a drive to create a smooth, customer-focused experience from start to finish.


Responsibilities




  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Quick Lane department




  • Supervise, coach, and develop service advisors and technicians




  • Ensure all maintenance work meets Ford and dealership standards




  • Monitor workflow, productivity, and customer satisfaction




  • Schedule and assign repair orders to technicians based on skill and workload




  • Oversee parts ordering and ensure timely availability for scheduled services




  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient service environment




  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally




  • Track key performance metrics and drive department profitability




  • Collaborate with the Service and Parts Managers to improve processes and service flow




Qualifications




  • Previous experience as a Quick Lane Manager, Service Advisor, or Team Lead preferred




  • Strong leadership and communication skills




  • Ability to multitask and manage a busy service lane




  • Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and repair procedures




  • Experience with DMS or CRM systems (Dealertrack, CDK, or Reynolds & Reynolds preferred)




  • Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills




  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
