Quick Lane Service Technician

LaFayette Ford is looking for experienced Maintenance and Light Repair Service Technicians for our busy Quick Lane Tire and Auto Center. This department operates 7:30am – 5pm Monday through Friday and 7am – 2pm on Saturdays. Employees will operate on a 5 day work week.

Responsibilities:

Our Quick Lane Tire and Auto Center specializes in a variety of service needs. Technicians in this department should be able to perform the following:

• Oil Changes


• Tire Rotations, Installations, and Repair


• Brake Inspections, Repair, and Service


• Vehicle Battery Checks and Installation


• North Carolina Vehicle Inspections


• Belt and Hose Replacement


• Air Conditioning System Service and Repair


• Alternator Service and Repair


• Cooling System Inspection and Service


• Lamp and Bulb Inspection and Service


• Suspension and Steering Service and Repair


• Transmission Service


• Wiper Blade Replacement and Repair


• Wheel Alignments

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of automotive service experience


• Proficiency with servicing brakes, suspension, and alignments


• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record


• Minimum 3 years driving experience


• Having your own tools preferred
