Job Description - Quicklube Service Technician

Veterans Ford Tampa is seeking a motivated and experienced Lube Technician who is eager to take the next step in their career. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greets all customers in a friendly, professional manner and helps identify, confirm, and resolve customer concerns

Performs general maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes and tire rotations

Execute thorough and accurate inspections to advise on recommended maintenance or needed repair

Runs tests to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly

Drives vehicles for testing purposes

Maintains efficiency and accuracy in servicing customer and dealer-owned vehicles

Uses power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks

Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Quick Lube service experience preferred, but not required

Must have a positive, friendly attitude with a proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction

Ability to learn new technology and all repair and service procedures and specifications

Strong knowledge of automobile repair and maintenance

Effective analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced environment

Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

Must exhibit personal and professional integrity

Must have a valid driver’s license
