Role : QVA Contract Insurance

Estimated Duration : 6+ months

Location: Phoenix, AZ (hybrid)

Position Description

Request and review certificates of business insurance from Qualified Vendors (QV) electronically. Ensure compliance with the Request for Qualified Vendor Agreement (RFQVA) 710000. Provide technical assistance to QV and escalate non-compliance issues to Contract Action Unit. Collaborate with Contract Management Specialists (CMS) and track QV progress. Manage data entry and data management for the myCOI software system implementation. Assist with transitioning QV to myCOI system. Temporary position to support CMS with insurance compliance and myCOI implementation.

Computer skills, Google suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Meets, and Chat), exceptional written and verbal communication, well-developed organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, teamwork, interpersonal skills, self-management, and problem solving.

Skills Preferred 

Ability to multitask, project management, compliance, and understanding of insurance terms and purposes.

Experience Required

Customer Service, Google suite, data entry, information tracking, professional communication via email, and teamwork.

Experience Preferred

myCOI, contract compliance, commercial insurance, and executive assistance.

Education Required

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 yrs. work experience in human services, public administration, legal research, or related field w/an emphasis on contracting for human services. Full proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & experience w/databases is highly desirable. Full proficiency in Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) & experience w/databases is highly desirable. Experience in contracting concepts is preferred as well as project management, research, and analysis.
