Job Description: Active Secret Clearance Required // 100% Onsite
Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements. Designs hardware, software and interface specifications. Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
•Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
• Experience creating electrical schematics
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1+ years of experience in electrical/electrical system design
• 1+ years of experience with an electronic design tool
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in electrical/electrical system design
• Experience with a broad range of power, signal, and instrumentation hardware used in test
• Experience with test hardware control and troubleshooting
• Experience with wire shop fabrication capabilities including inspection & check-out
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or MentorGraphics
Education/experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification. Required: Bachelor or Master degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering.
Ability to pass Background and Drug Screen if Required by Client
