Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by oncologists, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This role requires a strong understanding of radiation therapy techniques, patient care, and medical imaging.

Schedule: Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (08:00 – 16:30)

Duties

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
• Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patients during treatment sessions, assessing their physical and emotional well-being.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments administered, patient responses, and any side effects experienced.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Educate patients and their families about the treatment process, potential side effects, and aftercare instructions.
• Stay updated on advancements in radiation therapy techniques and technologies through continuous education.

Requirements

• Proven experience in radiation therapy or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential.
• Familiarity with acute care settings, critical care practices, mammography procedures, and medical imaging techniques such as CT is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients undergoing treatment.

• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year required

• Certifications: ARRT (T) – Required ,BLS – Required
