Radiation Therapist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by oncologists, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as proficiency in radiation therapy techniques and medical imaging.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Proficiency in radiation therapy techniques and medical imaging modalities such as CT.
• Experience in critical care or acute care settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with mammography procedures is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Relevant certification or licensure as required by state regulations.
