Provide education and emotional support to patients undergoing radiation therapy.
Participate in quality assurance and equipment checks.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiologic Technology.
Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T).
State licensure if required by the state of employment.
Knowledge of radiation safety standards and oncology treatment procedures.
