Requirements
Essential Functions:
Patient Support
Greet and escort patients from the lobby to changing areas in preparation for treatment.
Provide pre-treatment instructions and distribute daily schedules and other relevant documentation.
Provides support to patients to help reduce treatment-related anxieties and provides a positive treatment experience.
Promotes professionalism, courtesy and respect to all patients, staff, and associates of the company
Treatment Room & Equipment Preparation
Maintain treatment rooms to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adequate stocking of supplies.
Prepare immobilization devices and assist in setting up treatment equipment.
Remove and replace soiled linens according to infection control protocols.
Prepare electron blocks as needed and ensure the block room is cleaned after each use.
Transport Iso-Check vac-locks and accessories to designated treatment rooms for current and upcoming sessions.
Administrative Support
Assist in preparing and distributing daily patient documentation, including Iso-Check forms, Plan Verification Notes, Boost Notes, Completion Summaries, Treatment Chart Closeouts, Electron-Sim Sheets, and Face Sheets.
Conduct weekly chart checks for all scheduled patients receiving treatment.
Contact new patients to confirm treatment start dates and provide instructions for preparation.
Workflow Optimization
Collaborate with therapists to reduce delays and ensure smooth transitions between patient appointments.
Support non-clinical responsibilities that contribute to an efficient departmental workflow.
Communicate effectively with therapy and support staff to meet daily operational needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Frequent walking, standing, and use of proper body mechanics when assisting with patient care or equipment setup.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited school of radiology
Active and in good standing ARRT licensed in LMRT
Minimum two years’ experience in a healthcare or clinical support setting
Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred)
Certified BLS (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
