  •  Accreditation & Compliance: Maintain all ARRT records, prepare annual reports, and lead the self-study process for JRCERT accreditation.

  •  Financial Stewardship: Monitor the department budget and expenditures to maintain a resourceful and effective program.

  •  Curriculum Design: Develop and maintain a functional curriculum; evaluate course content, review new texts, and collaborate with administration on program implementation.

Student Success & Mentorship

  •  Academic Achievement: Maintain an 80% student success rate; review performance data and implement intervention plans to reduce student withdrawals.

  •  Clinical Excellence: Secure new clinical sites, manage agreements, and conduct site visits to evaluate student progress and ensure effective clinical education.

  •  Instructional Delivery: Perform the functions of a Radiography instructor, preparing didactic instruction, course objectives, and evaluating student performance.

  •  Records Management: Maintain student grades in accordance with policy and prepare final grades for transcripts at the end of each semester.

Professional Development

  •  Faculty Growth: Coordinate and arrange educational workshops and in-services for both didactic and clinical faculty .

  •  Advisory Collaboration: Serve as a primary link between the campus, the San Antonio clinical community, and the Program Advisory Board .

Who You Are

  •  A Strategic Administrator: You are proficient in program administration, evaluation, and academic advising, with a keen eye for curriculum design .

  •  An Inspiring Leader: You possess the professional qualifications and communication skills to motivate both a faculty team and a diverse student body .

  •  Detail-Oriented & Compliant: You understand that meticulous record-keeping and adherence to JRCERT/ARRT standards are the backbone of a successful program .

Minimum Qualifications

  •  Education: Master’s degree from a USDE or CHEA recognized accredited institution .

  •  Training: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program .

  •  Instructional Experience: Two (2) years of documented experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program .

  •  Clinical Experience: Three (3) years of full-time clinical experience in medical imaging .

  •  Licensure: Current ARRT registration in Radiologic Sciences (or unrestricted Texas state license) and all credentials required by law to work in the field .

  •  Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and modern educational technology .

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary: $94,415 – $118,020 per year.

  • Ownership: Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)—become a partial owner of the company!

  • Retirement: 401(k) Plan with a 10% Employer Match.

  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance; Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.
