Location: Huntsville, AL

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM -10:30 PM (Afternoon Shift)

Hourly Rate: Starting at $26.00/hour + $1.50 shift differential (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

Position Overview

The Radiologic Technologist will provide mobile X-ray and EKG services across various care settings, including skilled nursing facilities, prisons, jails, and home health locations. This position offers autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment
• Submit or transmit diagnostic-quality images to Radiologists for interpretation
• Perform EKGs and submit them for Cardiologist interpretation (as needed)
• Unload, set up, and maintain portable imaging equipment at client sites
• Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily
• Maintain professional communication with dispatch, management, peers, and facility staff
• Uphold high standards of medical ethics, patient confidentiality, and infection control
• Maintain vehicle and imaging equipment in clean, working condition

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification preferred
• State licensure (if required) reimbursement offered after 90 days of employment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
