Radiologic Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols
  

• Operate radiographic and portable imaging equipment with precision and care
  

• Ensure accurate patient positioning and optimal image quality
  

• Use appropriate radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self
  

• Administer contrast media and recognize adverse reactions, taking appropriate action
  

• Demonstrate proficiency with CR, PACS, and RIS systems for image processing and documentation
  

• Maintain accurate patient records, procedure logs, and quality assurance data
  

• Participate in rotating emergency call coverage as needed
  

• Follow infection control and universal precautions protocols
  

• Provide care to patients across all age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics

Qualifications:

• Completion of a 2-year AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or AAS degree in Radiologic Technology
  

• Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license (required)
  

• ARRT certification (required)
  

• Completion of a 24-month course from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  

• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care
