JOB SUMMARY

The RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST performs diagnostic radiographic services by taking radiographs, images made by passing x-rays through an area of the body. Services may include positioning, photographing, and developing film. The Radiologic Technologist works under the direction of the radiologist or physician.

Hiring in Washington! X Ray Techs needed in Burien, Tacoma, and Gig Harbor!

Here are a few quick details about the position:

•            Title: X ray tech

•            Location: Burien, Gig Harbor, Tacoma

•            Facility Type: Sutter Health 

•            Schedule: 5x8s, day shift 

•            Compensation: $2,450 per week 

•            Start Date: 8/18/25 (flexible)

General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS, WA Rad Tech License

Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements - ARRT RT (R)

How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 2 xray rooms

Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No

Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Fluoro, Surgery (OR), ED X-ray, Inpatient, Portable.

Experience or 'Must have' skills: 2 years experience, + to have ED xray ability and Surgery

Average # of scans/studies per day: AVG 30ish

EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use: Mckesson, EPIC

Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips Siemens): GE, Seimann
