Description:
Seasoned Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing radiography (x-ray) examinations on patients while adhering to radiation safety protocols. You will be responsible for preparing patients, administering contrast agents, and ensuring the technical quality of images. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Radiology License.
- Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS/ALS), required.
- Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R), required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with a focus on x-ray imaging.
- Skills:
- Strong technical skills in performing radiography (x-ray) examinations.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to accurately interpret physicians' orders and select appropriate imaging techniques.
- Excellent patient care skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with patients and ensure their comfort and well-being during procedures.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high technical image quality.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and maneuver patients with assistance to perform job functions effectively.
- Availability: Flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to handle emergency calls and potentially work weekends.
