RADIOLOGICAL TECHNOLOGIST

Radiologic Technologist\n\n Springboro Health Clinic\n\n \nGeneral Summary/Responsibilities:\n\nThe Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech/RT) for Premier Occupational Health is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, to produce images of tissue, organs, bones, and vessels. This RT is also responsible for daily patient care of ever patient in the clinic, including registration, vitals, any applicable testing and assisting the provider with patient care. \n\n \nDimensions:\n\nThe Radiological Technologist may be assigned as the Individual Responsible for Radiation Protection (IRRP) at one or more PPN facilities. IRRP responsibilities will include maintaining radiographic equipment records with ODH, overseeing/maintaining radiology safety logs, review of radiation badges, and notifying appropriate leadership of any equipment failure, overexposure, or other quality and safety issues.\n\n \nFIDRNOCT \n\nQualifications\n\nEducation\n\nMinimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree \n \nAdditional requirements: \n\uf0a7 Type of degree: Associate degree \n \n\nLicensure/Certification/Registration\n\nCurrent Ohio Radiologic License from the Ohio Department of Health. \n Active ARRT certification required. \n \n\nExperience\n\nMinimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience \nPreferred experience: Experience in an ambulatory care environment preferred \n \n\nKnowledge/Skills:\n\n\u2022 Thorough understanding of the use of medical technologies and performing accurate diagnostic procedures. \n\u2022 Proficient computer and data entry skills. \n\u2022 Effective problem solving skills and ability to work independently. \n\u2022 Proven record of dependability. \n\u2022 Effective verbal and written communication skills. \n\u2022 Detail oriented and ability to prioritize work effectively. \n\u2022 Demonstrated effective time-management skills.\n\n \n
