Job Summary

Performs administrative and technical duties required to schedule and perform radiological procedures.



Essential Functions

 

 

• Transports pediatric, adult and geriatric patients to and from the department. Processes diagnostic images to be interpreted by the radiologist.

Physical Requirements

This position will be required to frequently squat, kneel, bend, reach, pull and push. Lifting and moving moderate to heavy weight in handling patients, medical equipment and supplies. Must speak English fluently. Intact senses of sight, hear, touch, smell and finger dexterity. Critical thinking and ability to concentrate. Able to respond quickly to change in patient and department conditions.



Education, Experience and Certifications

High School Diploma or GED. Minimal knowledge of medical terminology, biology and human anatomy preferred. Familiarity with basic administrative procedures such as typing, answering telephones and filing.
