Radiology Nursing / Cardiac Rehab Coordinator

Department: Nursing - Radiology / Cardiac Rehab

Status Hours: Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly

Shift: 1st Shift

Job Summary
The Radiology Nursing / Cardiac Rehab Coordinator at Fulton County Health Center plays a key leadership role in coordinating patient care activities, staffing, and clinical support within the Radiology and Cardiac Rehab departments. This position will facilitate smooth daily operations, assist with staff supervision, and ensure quality patient outcomes. The Nursing Coordinator promotes FCHC’s mission to serve our community by promoting and providing the means for continued health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily patient care and staffing to ensure coverage and continuity.
• Serve as a clinical resource and point of contact for staff 
• Mentor new employees and assist with performance evaluations.
• Monitor patient flow and prioritize care to ensure efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Manage supplies, equipment readiness, and department collaboration.
• Address patient or family concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting required.
• BLS certification required; other certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) may be required depending on unit.
• Prior leadership, charge nurse, or coordinator experience preferred.
