Radiology - Special Procedures RN

Essential Job Duties:

1. Acts as a positive interface with all customers and in a manner consistent with world class service.
2. Adheres to and demonstrates the ability to competently perform those duties within the scope of practice for registered nurses as outlined by the Indiana Administrative Code.
3. Performs patient assessments in a systematic and organized manner to provide high quality and safe outcomes.
4. Provides direction and collaborates with team members to support a healthy work environment.
5. Analyzes collected data to formulate a plan of care that contributes to high quality and safe outcomes.
6. Implements a plan of care with measurable criteria consistent with world class performance levels.
7. Evaluates the plan of care with the patient and family/support system to maintain world class levels of patient satisfaction, outcomes, and care.
8. Contributes to a high performance work environment by seeking educational resources that enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills.

Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned:

1. Adjust regular work schedule to accommodate procedures, vacations, illnesses, and weather conditions.
2. Transport patients and assist others with patient transportation relative to patient acuity level.
3. Perform various tasks to assist Department in maintaining cohesive, efficient operation.
4. Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:

• Education: Satisfactory completion of an Accredited Program in Nursing recognized by the Indiana State Board of Nursing; Bachelors Degree in Nursing effective January 2017 (with the exception of staff previously granted grandfather status).

• Licensure:
• Current Nursing License issued by the Indiana State Board of Nursing.
• Current Certification in Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support.
• Current Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.

• Experience:
• Five years previous experience as a Nurse required.
• Previous Critical Care, Radiology, or Special Procedures Nursing preferred but not required.
