Radiology Supervisor / Radiology / Full Time Days

Job Duties:

• Follows guidelines outlined in Radiographer job description.
• Supervises radiographer staff to include: scheduling subordinate staff daily job assignments, assigning work, evaluating image quality, providing feedback and preparing various records/reports as required.
• Supervises receptionists, transporters and file clerks to provide coordination and continuity of patient care.
• Coordinates patient flow through department to assure exams are completed in a timely fashion, assuring that all ordered examinations are appropriately completed, documentation on requisitions is completed and films are completely assembled before being sent for interpretation.
• Performs various quality control, quality assurance and process Improvement tasks to comply with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Coordinates orientation and training of radiographers, organizes and oversees completion of staff competencies.
• Performs subordinate staff performance appraisals.
• Enforces hospital and department policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations to insure consistent and effective operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Required:

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the state of Ohio.
• Valid Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Preferred:

• Proven leadership skills with 3-5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
