Radiology Technologist - Travel Position
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8s
Pay: $3143/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The Radiology Tech will operate X-ray and imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and produce high-quality images. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders and protocols.
Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and comfort.
Operate imaging equipment, ensuring proper settings and image quality.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Follow radiation safety and infection control standards.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Active state licensure
BLS certification, COVID vaccine, TB test
Minimum 1 year of radiology or imaging experience in a hospital setting
